Alternative Spring Break Application

Please complete the information below to apply for the 2010 Alternative Spring Break teams. THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2009, by 5:00 p.m.

Please remember that YOU MUST COME TO THE TEAMVOLS OFFICE (315a University Center) BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 2009 AT 5:00 P.M. TO SIGN UP FOR AN INTERVIEW. Failure to signup for an interview will disqualify your application.

Interviews will be held the week of November 9-13 in the Team VOLS office. Interviews will last about 30 minutes and should be considered casual.

The 2010 Spring Break for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is March 8-12th.

Agreement


  1. I am a full-time student in good academic standing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
  2. If selected, I will actively participate in pre-trip team activities, including service, fundraising, and meetings.
  3. If selected, I will pay $50 for the trip, which covers transportation, lodging, and on-site meals.
  4. I can provide proof of current medical insurance. (Current medical insurance is required for all participants.)
  5. I understand that "Furnishing false information to the University with the intent to deceive" is a violation of the University of Tennessee Standards of Conduct and can result in disciplinary action. (Hilltopics 2009-2010, p. 12)
